Lovely Travel

Por fin empezamos con nuestro cuaderno de viaje de Noruega. Mi hermana está pasando una estancia de 3 meses en Lillehammer, así que decidimos visitarla (la excusa perfecta para conocer Noruega) Salimos el Miércoles por la mañana de Santiago de Compostela a Madrid, desde allí cogimos en Barajas un vuelo hasta Moss Rygge. Volamos con Ryanair y si compras los billetes con tiempo (nosotros los compramos con mes/mes y medio de antelación) puedes conseguir una buena tarifa (64€ ida y vuelta todos los trayectos y sin facturar)

Llegamos al aeropuerto a las 16.00 h del Miércoles y allí tienes dos posibilidades: coger el autobús gratuito a la estación de tren de Rygge y desde allí coger el tren a Oslo o, como hicimos en nuestro caso, coger el autobús expres a Oslo (está justo al salir de la terminal) Si compras el billete de ida y vuelta te ahorras unos euros (tiene caducidad de 3 meses) pero en este punto debo recordaros que en Noruega es TODO caro. El billete al cambio nos salió por 36€/persona ida y vuelta. Recordad que debéis guardar el ticket porque es el billete tanto para la ida como para la vuelta. El trayecto dura más o menos una hora y os deja en la Estación de Bus de Oslo.

Al llegar a Oslo quedamos con mi hermana en la estación de tren (que está justo al lado de la de bus) Está todo muy bien señalizado así que no tiene pérdida. Decidimos que aunque solamente íbamos a estar 5 días queríamos visitar algo más que Oslo, así que compramos billetes para Bergen. Como el tren nos salía a las 23.00 horas de 18 h a 23 h nos dedicamos a visitar:

- Karl Johan Gate, es la calle principal de Oslo. Tiene siempre mucha vida y encontrarás tiendas y restaurantes.

- Aker Brygge, el puerto de Oslo, cuenta con numerosas discotecas y bares. Antes de entrar en ellos mira lo que cuestan las cosas sino quieres salir asustado. Nosotros localizamos un Mc Donalds que fue como nuestra segunda casa.

- Ayuntamiento de Oslo, tan característico con su ladrillo rojo

Lo bueno de esta ciudad es que está todo muy próximo y no necesitas un montón de días para conocer lo esencial.

Llegaron las 23.00 y nos metimos en el tren. Cogimos el trayecto por la “noche” (que realmente de noche sólo había 3 horas) para evitar pagar hotel y dormir en el tren. Dicen que es uno de los trayectos más bonitos del mundo así que la vuelta la cogimos por la mañana para no despegar nuestra nariz del cristal. Los billetes los compramos desde España a través de http://www.nsb.no/ Es muy importante que los compréis con tiempo ya que existen los Minipris y os podréis ahorrar bastante! El trayecto de ida y vuelta a Bergen nos costó sobre 79€.

Una de las cosas que más nos sorprendió es que al entrar te regalaban una manta, unos tapones para los oídos, una almohada hinchable y un antifaz. Nos quedamos dormidos y la sensación de abrir los ojos y ver lo que vi no la olvidaré nunca! Todo nevado (y eso que estábamos en una ola de calor a 27 grados en Oslo) Sinceramente el trayecto en tren es para ir con la boca abierta constantemente.

Llegamos a Bergen tras 8 horas de viaje. Como no podíamos hacer check in en el hotel hasta las 12.00 dejamos las maletas en la consigna del hotel (algo que tienen todos los hoteles y es muy de agradecer) y nos fuimos a desayunar (a precio de oro por supuesto) Es curioso porque vimos dos tipos de Bergen: el de primera hora de la mañana, sin apenas gente y el Bergen turístico a rebosar. Pero esto ya es el día 2 y os lo contaremos en el siguiente post!

Finally we started our travelogue of Norway. My sister is going to stay 3 months in Lillehammer, so we decided to visit her(the perfect excuse to see Norway) We left Wednesday morning for Santiago de Compostela to Madrid Barajas from there took on a flight to Rygge Moss. We flew with Ryanair and if you buy tickets in time (we buy with month / month and a half in advance) you can get a good rate (64 € round trip every route and unbilled) We arrived at the airport at 16.00 am on Wednesday and there you have two choices: take the free bus to the train station and from there Rygge take the train to Oslo or, as we did in our case, take the express bus to Oslo (is just outside the terminal) If you buy the return ticket you save a few euros (has expiration of 3 months) but at this point I must remind you that in Norway’s ALL expensive. The ticket change worked out for 36 € / person round trip. Remember that you must keep the ticket because the ticket is for both the outward and for the return. The journey takes about an hour and leaves you in the bus station in Oslo.Arriving in Oslo were with my sister at the train station (which is right next to the bus) It’s all very well marked so there is no loss. We decided to visit in our 5 days  more than Oslo, so we bought tickets for Bergen. As we exited the train at 23.00 from 18 at 23 h we carry visit:

- Karl Johan Gate, is the main street of Oslo. It always has plenty of life and you will find shops and restaurants.

- Aker Brygge, Oslo harbor has numerous nightclubs and bars. Before entering them look at what things cost for not get scared. We reach a McDonalds that was like our second home.

- City of Oslo

The beauty of this city is that it’s all very close and do not need a lot of days to learn the essentials. Reached 23.00 and we got on the train. We took the route through the “night” (which really only had 3 hours at night) to avoid paying hotel and sleep on the train. They say it’s one of the most beautiful journeys in the world so we turn at the morning and we took off our nose to avoid the glass. Tickets are bought from Spain through http://www.nsb.no/ is very important that you buy some time as there are with the Minipris and you can save you enough! The journey to and from Bergen cost us about 79 €. One of the things that surprised us is that you gave away to get a blanket, some earplugs, inflatable pillow and a mask. We fell asleep and the feeling of opening your eyes and see what I saw I’ll never forget! All snow (and we were in a heat wave at 27 degrees in Oslo) Honestly the train ride is to go with the mouth open constantly.

We arrived in Bergen after 8 hours of travel. Since we could not do check in at the hotel until 12.00 we left the bags in the slogan of the hotel (which have all the hotels and is much appreciated) and we went to breakfast (the price of gold of course) is interesting because we saw two types of Bergen: the first Bergen in the morning, with little people and the Bergen tourist overflow. But that is on day 2 and I’ll tell in the next post!
